Hi,
I just flashed newest volumio image to use it on raspberry pi zero W (old with one core cpu).
At the beggining I noticted that wifi hotspot is not working.
I was also trying to scan or use wlan0 adapter from console - it does not work also. It’s look like wlan0 interface don’t start at all.
Is rasberry pi zero still supported or I have to upgrade to pi zero 2W to make it work out of the box?
Do you have any solution to fix wifi wlan0 on raspberry pi zero ?
See this thread Volumio 4 Feedback Thread - #515 by nerd
the old RPi0W with single-core armv6 CPU is not supported by Volumio4 (bookworm)
So the only solution is to upgrade to raspberry pi zero 2W?
Is there any HW compatibility list ? On What 3rd party devices are supported? Raspberry Pi Zero (RPi0) is still listed as supported…
Is there any older version I can use on Raspberry Pi Zero (RPi0) ? Or all other versions are EOL and not working anymore ?
Thanks for reporting that list, it definitely must be updated to reflect the compatibility with Volumio4
For Volumio4, being the RPi0 non supported anymore, the only option is to move to something newer (RPi0W-2 is good for that purpose)
You can still use your RPi0W, but with Volumio3 only, that won’t receive any further bugfix/update
