A couple years ago I setup a multiroom audio system with volumio ang raspberry pi 3; It’s been working fine for the most part. The only issue I have with the setup is every 3 months on the dot, some of sdcards would fail and I need to reinstall everything. Now I’m in the process of redoing everything and I would like to use a raspberry CM4 with 2G RAM and 8G emmc. I started playing around with it and so far i’m able to get volumio 2.9 installed on it; but for the life of me, i can’t figure out how to get sound out the HiFiberry AMP. Would you guys be kind and point to the right direction?

How are you connecting this together? Do you have some sort of carrier board? Is the i2s/i2c connectivity the same as on a normal RP board? None of this answers your question, just curious.
