Raspberry memory requirements

I’ve read Volumio ‘requires’ 4gb of ram. However, I’ve been running it on a zero 2 w (512mb)
and now temporary a pi4 2gb. (HiFiBerry DAC+ and the dac+ zero)
If i ssh into the device, it notice the following

That looks more than enough?
mostly using Spotify connect, and local files (nas).
enabled only 3 plugins fusiondsp, Spotify and volusonic(to try).

I also notice all the hardware volumio players (primo/motivo etc…) have 2GB ram!

Since this pi4 was for my 3d printer, I’m buying a new one. but do I need the 4gb version? I don’t have a screen attached to it.

Normally, when you don’t use things like Peppy_Meter 2GB will do, however 4GB will run smoother. The latter also depends on the amount of tracks on your NAS.
