The plugin for radio paradise on my Rivo+ is not synchronized with the live stream of the app of that radio on my iPhone. Actually the music playing on the Rivo lags exactly two songs behind. However the song’s information displayed on the Volumio app is correct and corresponds to the live stream. Has anyone experienced the same thing? Has anyone found a way to fix it?

I checked by opening radioparadise in a webbrowser and on volumio, using volumio favorite radio.
And in that case, it is not synchronized.
But, if you install the plugin Radioparadise, it ok with only a 10 seconds drift.
So, install the plugin 
And you’ll get album art

Thank you for your feedback. The problem I am describing happens with the plugin. I tried several times to uninstall it and reinstall it but the problem remains. Oddly the Radio paradise plugin version in the list of plugins in the Volumio app is 1.0.14 but once installed, it mentions the version 1.0.12 (I don’t know how relevant this is…?). What I have noticed is that the information displayed on the Volumio app on the iPhone is always synchronized with the music broadcasted by Radio paradise live (for example through its proprietary app) but very often (more so than not) the music played by the Volumio Rivo + through Radio paradise plugin does not correspond to the display (which is in synch with the live broadcast of the radio). The lag is in the 5 to 10 minutes range so a few songs. Marco from Volumio told me that the third party plugin is most likely responsible for the problem, not the hardware (Volumio rivo+) or the Volumio app. He advised me to reach out to the community. I also get sometimes an error 404 when the Volumio rivo+ is unable to connect with the Radio paradise http address. I need to mention that when it happens the Volumio rivo+ connects without problem to the streaming platform I use. So it’s not related to a wifi connection issue.

The last version you see is only for Volumio 4, not deployed yet for Volumio hardware.
But this is not the reason for the drift. The plugin get the stream from radio paradise servers. Last version just add new streams.
I tested on a volumio integro device.
Maybe it exists different mirrors servers…
Any chance the Volumio 4 due to be release soon also for Volumio hardwares such as the Rivo+ may fix this lagging problem ?

It looks like the problem has been addressed by someone since the lag is now significantly reduced to less than 2 minutes, often less than one. Not sure who to thank but if that person is reading this post then Thank you for the improvement !
