Question about App and two phones and hello!

Hello from Paris…

About to get an Rivo, but have a question first: Is it possible to have two apps installed on two different phones for one account without problem?

Looking forward to read and learn, the Rivo will find its place between a Brooklyn Amp and DAC+

Yes it’s possible, but both phones will mirror the GUI.
The first connected phone will be considered as “Master”
I am using a Andriod and iPhone.
I’ve connected the iPhone first , the android as 2nd.
If I select play here on the Andriod, the sound moves to the iPhone.

Mac is not supported at all ?
i have a Airbook and Iphone…(luckily haven’t purchased the unit yet)

Not sure what the ask is, with regards to the MAC.
As far as I am aware the MAC comes with Safari, so you can access the Rivo by it’s IP.

Can i ask a further question ?

Does the Volumio app/interface allow you to play everything you doing on the safari? Let it be youtube, radio etc? Sorry if this is a already asked thing and or if i’m completely wrong. Asking because my wife listen to radio a lot and i need something easy for her

web-radio is supported with Tune-In integration, you can also add other web-radios if you have the link of the stream

for youtube, there are 3rd-part plugins available on the plugin store, they work very well

Web radio is available directly in Volumio without a plugin.
Thousands of web radio stations can be selected and saved as favorites. I use it like this and am very happy. It’s really very well done in Volumio!
