Qobuz Connect - HiRes playback slow and deep with Leema Pulse III DAC

Hi,
I am running Volumio 3.886 on a Raspberry Pi 4, connected through USB with a Leema Pulse III DAC, which supports 24bit/192kHz.

Playing Qobuz over the Qobuz plugin of Volumio works fine for HiRes titles.

With Qobuz Connect, playback of HiRes titles is slow and deep whereas CD quality is OK.

In Volumio Playback options, I have configured the output device as “USB Audio CODEC”.
Audio-Resampling is Off.
I have tried various other settings but none of them worked.

I also tried the latest Volumio 4, but the result was the same.

Is there any way to playback HiRes through Qobuz Connect with this type of DAC?

Qobuz interface was never great to start with when I tested their app on windows. Also if you are playing massive files (>96kHz) you should expect a little delay.

I’ve noticed Spotify connect is sluggish too but Tidal works properly (and recommend that for streaming).

Only testing Spotify since they’ve finally got lossless and got a 4 month free trial. The only advantage is O was surprised to see some ‘channels’ that I follow on YouTube that have higher quality streams, to my delight. YouTube and SoundCloud are usually rubbish (128kbps etc)
