About Spotify, could you please log in to the Spotify plugin in Volumio and then try again to discover the device using Spotify Connect from the Spotify app?

Can conform the same on the Rivo.
When Qobuz connect is used, moving to Spotify Connect the Rivo keeps playing the Qobuz track. It will show the Spotify meta data, but still playing the Qobuz track, even with the Qobuz app terminated. (iPhone)

I tried the below:

  • uninstall Camilla
  • Disabled Qobuz Connect
  • Tried Spdif and USB output
  • Tried with different streamer into the DAC, no latency.
  • repositioned the Rivo closer to router
  • repopulated DHCP
  • assigned fixed ip to Rivo
  • DLNA works quickly.
  • Spotify Connect is even worse.
  • Airplay works fine.

is there a way to rollback to a non-Qobuz Connect fw version? or any other trick?

Unfortunately, there is no way to downgrade to a previous software version.

In the meantime, we are digging deeper into the issue to better understand what’s causing it.

I use the last version, install TOUCH Display and Now Playing. I have both account TIDAL and Qobuz when only use TIDAL Connect
It starts playing. When use several time next track it freeze. Also when go back in tracks several times it freeze. When switch between
TIDAL to Qobuz it freeze also

Qobuz connect for the Rivo+ is working for me on both my IPHONE and my old IPAD air. Performance seems to be very good. I have not checked “beginning of tracks being cut” issue, since I am working, and I have the volume off.

Ok, I got it to “forever spin”. I had my Iphone on Qobuz, and my IPAD on Volumio, and I tried to go back and forth controling the Rivo+ with both apps. I easily got it to “spin” with no response. BTW, as expected, if you have a 4K screen hooked up to the Rivo+ HDMI, it always shows the Volumio UI when you are using Qobuz connect.
