Hello,

Spotify connect?

If so, then it’s the same as with e.g. Tidal connect…try to change the settings regarding DSD directly in playback and in Peppymeter. If that doesn’t help, the pointers won’t work on connect…that depends on the DAC

No not spotify connect, spotify

OK, that’s strange when the internet radio works.
Nevertheless, change the settings in playback and Peppymeter…if you haven’t already done so.

Now you’re making me curious, I haven’t run peppymeter in a long time.

steps:
new volumio image flashed.
installed the touch plugin and installed the new spotify plus peppymeter.

Conclusion works just fine, no problem at all.

Spotify Connect and Spotify from the Volumio app with a Khadas Tone 1.

So somewhere along the line something isn’t going right for you

First Spotify and than peppymeter?

that’s the order I did.

otherwise try something else first: go to settings/playbackoptions and select “dummy” at output device and click safe and wait a few seconds, then select tone 1 again and click safe and reboot.

check if it works now.

I just tried it and it works on hardware/software and non 800x480 (khadas tone 1)
also tried a custom_1 (800x480) folder, also okay.

Need help…or your Feedback at least. Volumio3 Peppymeter works with all music resource except Spotify connect 4.x. Sound OK, but peppymeter needles are not moving. There is nothing like " volspotify.tmpl" to define peppyalsa as output device. Any idea?

then that has changed since the last Spotify version.
I don’t know where the file is now or where you can adjust it and whether that is still necessary.

I tried yesterday on a new volumio image and it works just fine here.

I just installed Peppy Meter on my other streamer (no new volumio installation) it also works well, Spotify Connect as well as the Spotify Volumio app.

raspberry 3b.
ian canada isolator II and FifoMA 1.5
Philips 1543 NOS DAC in master mode.
7,9 inch waveshare: wide (2 channels 1280x400) including custom wide folder.

Now it works, i install it again. Thank you, im verry happy.

Any news on not beeing needing to edit system files in x86, Tinkerboard (and Volumio Primo - original at least) to be able to run this plugin??

Doing so breaks updates and so on…

For the x86, it doesn’t break any updates…

Thanks, I had the idea that it did

Anyway I use mainly my Volumio Primo

unable to comment on the Primo, don’t have one.

Dear Gelo5 and everyone!
This is my first post here, although I’ve been reading for a few days. First of all, I’m making my streamer myself, with a 10.1" 1280x800 waweshare HDMI display. I already have a couple of 1280x800 themes. The ones I like best, unfortunately, I can’t find them in the 1280x800 version. I’ll show you with a picture attachment which themes I want to find in the 1280x800 version. Can you help me? in this? The VU-meter located 2 ways back reminds me of my childhood 40 years ago
This themes i want 1280x800:

Another question: Peppymeter (at least under Volumio3) produces 2 errors for me. One error: it freezes after a while, stuck there on the screen, time display 0:00 yes, the pointers are moving. The other error: the time display does not follow the time of the track, and if I jump in the track, it goes crazy from then on, showing the completely wrong time. Is there a solution to this? Thank you, I’m glad to be here, all the best to everyone. Zoltán, Hungary

It’s based on the tinkerboard
