Using Volumio 3 and loving it — I run two or three devices around the household, often grouped, and it works fabulously. I have a ridiculously minor concern, though:
Because I live in a place where network outages are relatively frequent and can last up to a few hours, I’ll often just switch over to music stored on our NAS and listen to that; but I’m not able during outages to group (or ungroup) devices, as that’s a premium feature and the instant I lost the WAN connection I became a regular schlub again. Is there any way to cache and periodically re-check premium status, so that it might carry through for a few hours of network downtime? Should I have put this somewhere else, like development?
