So I got this new R Pi 5 to use both as a music client and as a general purpose Internet viewer. I got it working well using PINN on SD card with dual boot, Raspberrian and Volumio. But the next step was to install a one TB (official Pi version) M2 NVME with the same setup. Installed Pinn on the M2 from the Pi loader, then the two operating systems from PINN. Raspberrian works fine from NVME but Volumio fails with a whole list of terminal errors. Is it now possible to boot Volumio this way now and how to install?
Dual boot is not support, so maybe the community steps up to support you.
It’s possible to make a dual boot with Volumio but OTA updates will not be possibles.
It’s a bit tricky cause the Volumio initramfs , squashfs and overlay fs have to be replaced by a standard ext4 filesystem (standard Rasbian partitioning).
