If you are upgrading from previous version, make sure to restart Volumio. Other than that I have no idea, sorry.
Unfortunate, but thank you for replying
Is there any log I could provide that would make debugging possible?
Hi @sin, can you confirm that you powered off/on after deleting the plugin and before reinstalling it? Thatās all I can think of.
I can, the steps were:
- uninstall plugin
- enable plugin test mode
- reboot
- install plugin
- insert cookie
- reboot
something strange is happening i try to install the latest build the beta one i entered on dev and put all on true and i still getting the 1.4.2 i power cycle , multiple times, and no matter if i uninstall, powercycle, install, i still get the older build, and if i try update the plugin i still geting the older one
The latest working version is for Bookworm-based Volumio only. You are still on Buster-based.
uhm im on 3,812
Thatās Buster-based. Hereās Bookworm
ah thanks dumb me, very appreciated im new on this thing , i really appreciate your hard work i only use volumio because youtube2 , i only use volumio to listen light novels,on youtube so your plugin is the only thing that makes me use this distro ,too bad youtube keeps making the things harder for you, thanks again,i send u a virtual hug
Iām using Bookworm
0.069 latest version
YouTube 2 plugin 2.3.3 with cookie but plugin setting is empty !
Hi, I guess you canāt have everything I have the same problem with the YouTube plugin. Iām using a Raspberry Pi 4 with version 3.812 and also getting the āfailed to decodeā error. Iāve now installed version 0.069, which I didnāt know before
There, YouTube playback works and version 2.3.3 is installed. In version 3.812, the plugin overview still shows 2.33, but actually 1.42 gets installed
That might be the reason playback doesnāt work. In 0.069, however, the internet radio is very limited. Sure, I can add stations manually, but genres and countries are not available. But thatās a topic for another time
I think the last version still worked, but Iām not entirely sure anymore.
and you are running YouTube 2 (version 2.3.3)
Raspberry version 0.069 ?
what am I doing wrong when entering cookie setting is empty
āCould not obtain i18n optionsā
you read this How to obtain Cookie Ā· patrickkfkan/Volumio-YouTube.js Wiki Ā· GitHub
youtube2 only works on bookworm OS
It worked for me too !!!
5x I have tried, have taken cookie from start page YT not from playlist YT, if that was the mistake ?
now running again half a year, until Google change something again
