Status2mqtt sends volumio status to a given mqtt server.
The volumio state is sent as soon as it changes. The plugin provides a JSON payload that include the state, the album, the author and the title.
The plugin allows the use of mqtts, a login/password authentication and a specific topic

I got plug in to work.
But if I listen to internet radio … the status got no update on next title.
Volumio show title correct but the plug-in does not update Mqtt.

thank you for your feedback. However, I don’t have time to fix this now. Moreover i tried to comit changes and ask for my plugin to be published to volumio 3, but it seems that I need to use another plugin repo…
I also have another bug to fix on another plugin, I may do all theses fixes in the following weeks
Is there a plan to release this plugin for Volumio 4?
I just built a test Pi Zero 2W with 4.071 and noticed it was missing from the list (and I use it as part of my set-up under Volumio 3).
Grabbed the files from my old v3 set-up and installed them manually on v4 and so far it seems to be working perfectly (although it did complain about some information missing from the package when I installed it).
So unless my set-up is not highlighting a glitch, it looks to me like a quick refresh of the packaging metadata and the usual submission/testing would be all that would be required to get this one back out there?
I’m sorry but I do not use volumio anymore. I changed my setup for MoodAudio whichm by using mpd, can be driven easily without any plugin (I’m using mpd binding on Openhab)
Fair enough, thanks for getting back and clarifying. And thanks for the original work on the code, which is still going strong (with a little help to install it).
I’m running my radio Pi zero’s via Home Assistant, which is where the plugin comes in to allow switching via zigbee controls (Ikea switches and smart plugs on the speakers). Hopefully someone else may fork it and take it over, as it looks like one that could easily be restored for everyone.
