did you all the steps?
Iâm here
that is 6 or 7 times the first command you only need it once âŚ
with back on you keyboard you can erase what you donât need
Why donât you just copy and paste the commands from the instructions on Github and paste them into the terminal?
This you have already done:
mkdir soundcloud-plugin
Now do the following:
cd soundcloud-plugin
git clone https://github.com/patrickkfkan/volumio-soundcloud.git
cd volumio-soundcloud
volumio plugin install
Copy and paste each of the commands above into the terminal
Really sorry but here I am,
I donât know how to go to cd sound cloud plugin and if I already have soundcloud plugin, because say âfile existsâ
grab the git clone line again ( i donât see git clone in front of the link⌠)
At this screen, do the following:
git clone https://github.com/patrickkfkan/volumio-soundcloud.git
Then:
cd volumio-soundcloud
Finally:
volumio plugin install
Make sure you copy the entire line.
Done, sorry for all my mistakes, many thanks to you and DVO
no problem we all went true this once or twiceâŚ
No problem. Enjoy~
@patrickkfkan read mail pleaseâŚ
After listening soundcloud, doesnât work tidal or radioweb in the browser of volumio. So I restarted volumio and Tidal is now ok, but doesnât appears soundcloud in the browser even soundcloud plugins are still activ, whatâs happened?
When you told me to read mail, I have to do something?
You mean the SoundCloud source is not showing on the left hand side?
When you say radioweb doesnât work, could you be more specific?
Under Installed Plugins, do you see SoundCloud âActiveâ?
1 question: yes soundcloud source isnât showing
2: radioweb or tidal sources doesnât work, that is Volumio responce yes, but without music (here I restarted Volumio)
3:Yes, soundcloud plugins are always active
I would have liked to put features on my volumio, as soundcloud and mixtape that I always listened to BT from my smartphone, but as you have seen I donât have knowlodge
The thing is, the SoundCloud plugin is pretty much self-contained and shouldnât affect the other plugins at all.
Could you add /dev
to your volumio address in the browser (e.g. if you access Volumio through http://volumio.local
, then you would go to http://volumio.local/dev
). Then scroll to the bottom and click Enable button under Live Log.
After that, go to Installed Plugins and deactivate the SoundCloud Plugin and re-enable it. Then go back to the /dev
page and copy the Live Log and paste it here.
Iâm very excited about the Soundcloud Plugin but canât install it do to Volumio not recognizing the âvolumioâ password on my Mac (SSH is enabled). I understand this may be a bug. Can anyone point me to a link about getting around this bug? Thanks!
strangely i also have a mac and no problem with ssh in terminal.
normally the login command is âssh volumio @ ip address raspberryâ volumio as password.
what kind of error message do you get in terminal?
Nice plugin sir! How do you register this as an official plugin?
Would hate to keep periodically pulling the repo and updating manually. Iâm lazy
