Did reinstalling help? If not:
Under Volumio Network settings, is the correct IP reported?
If possible, capture some logs. Start logging → enter the plugin settings → stop logging.
Try stopping the plugin, wait for a while, then start the plugin again. See if the correct IP is shown.
The other two issues (weather and Genius) are possibly related to incorrect IP being obtained. So the first step in debugging this would be to get the correct IP shown in the plugin settings.
This is more likely to be a problem with Volumio itself. Now Playing and Peppymeter just display whatever album cover is reported by Volumio.

i don’t see it as a problem it’s a way to get the info outside your pi

I am aware of that, but that is the result of running ipconfig
for the purpose of logging. It is not what I am asking for.

Done it. The IP was correct but this solution worked (stoped plugin, waited 2-3 mins, and restarted plugin).
It worked! Now I’ll try the other features of the plugin (weather, etc.) and report. Many thanks.

Great plugin! Thanks for the support on getting it to work.
This seems to reveal a Volumio bug where its getCachedIPAddresses()
method returns the wrong values - perhaps due to the network interfaces not yet ready when the IP addresses were first read and cached. Going to Network Settings forces the cached IP addresses to refresh, so restarting the plugin after visiting Network Settings will allow the plugin to get the correct values.

OK, just pushed a quick fix. Please try again with v0.5.5 (currently in beta channel).
Remember to backup your config in plugin settings, before going through delete → install → restart.
