- 27 Sep 2026 - Thread opened. PeppyMeter Screensaver is discontinued; 3.5.0 “Guard Engine” was its last release. Its repositories stay public, unsupported. Its thread stays as history.
Credits
Glass carries what PeppyMeter Screensaver learned during its Volumio 4 run, and that learning came from people. Thank you to the patients of the old clinic, who followed it to the new building.

Shaped it through testing and reports
- @Lee.Yan - Windows remote testing without end, and the config file that found the reload loop in five minutes after five days.
- @pjorgenunes - the first and most comprehensive confirmation reports, the remote wizard selections, and the touch dismiss.
- @dewen - clean reports with hardware details and logs. His CJK squares became a font pipeline covering fifteen writing systems.
Reports that led to fixes
- @naimnatnod - the OTA and Thai font findings.
- @Fire - x86 installs and spectrum timing.
- @vbhvmlk - the touch dismiss report, with a log.
- @aluisperezh - a report with every log asked for, which showed in plain numbers why the Python engine had to go.
