Hello,

A new plugin that I wrote for the community (and myself). It is currently available in beta on the Volumio store.

Description

radio_fip is a Volumio music service plugin providing access to the FIP radio channels from Radio France.

The plugin provides:

12 FIP radio stations
AAC 192 Kbps HiFi streams
Station logos
Track metadata (artist, title, album)
Album artwork when available
FIP default cover when no artwork is available

FIP Electro
FIP Groove
FIP Hip Hop
FIP Jazz
FIP Metal
FIP Nouveautés
FIP Pop
FIP Reggae
FIP Rock
FIP Sacré Français
FIP Monde

Notes

The station “FIP Sacré Français” does not display album covers or track metadata (artist, title, album) because I have not been able to find the metadataId for this station.

- Added compatibility with Volumio 3.x and Volumio 4.x.
- Fixed plugin installation permissions on Volumio 4, where files and directories (node_modules, package-lock.json and .package-lock.json) could be created with root:root ownership, causing the uninstall operation to fail.
- Added automatic ownership check and correction for files created by npm.
- Improved plugin removal reliability by preventing permission issues during uninstall.
- Improved overall plugin installation and removal handling (including index.js changes).
- Added debug log support (enable with var DEBUG = true; in index.js).
- Improved FIP Radio menu cleanup to properly remove the browse source entry during plugin stop and removal.
