Playlists don't start playing when hitting play

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Navigate to the playlists by clicking on “Playlists” in the sidebar.
  2. Click on the “Play” button next to any of the available playlists.
  3. One would expect the playlist to start playing, but all that happens is that current playback is stopped. Starting playback “manually” by clicking on the playlist and then the “Play” button next to the first song works fine.

Additional Information

This used to work fine and got broken by a relatively recent upgrade. I couldn’t say which one exactly unfortunately.
