Playback issue when additional folder inside

Volumio 3 playback Issues?
Hello,
I’m a relatively new Volumio user. I can play only files within a folder, but when album folder contains additional embedded folder, like covers, art etc), the playback is not working at all. The workaround is to delete cover/art or any other folder from my album folder. Wired.
When I can play tracks, I can play whichever I want in the folder on my android phone, but on PC I have to play one by one only. I can’t pick up the track from the list to play.

I’m playing the tracks from my Synology NAS using DLNA option, because your guide how to add this NAS to the library or NAS discovery is not working.

Still happens with the newest release of volumio. Playing from a DLNA Server. Weird behaviour. With an artwork folder inside a folder containing audio files, playback starts with an offset of 1. If you click track 1, track 2 starts to play. If you choose the last track, track 1 gets active in the player. But it is paused. Even more strange is the behaviour, if the subfolder contains audio files. If you click the first track in the base folder, the second track of the subfolder starts playing.
Maybe the volumio team could have a look at this?
best regards from Austria,
Hans-Peter

I came on looking for ways to troubleshoot connecting to a Plex DLNA server thru a pi5 and found this thread. I too experience track offset issues, on both my pi4b and pi5.

And now on the pi5, after a reboot, it can no longer see the DLNA server while the pi4b can continue to browse it.

Both are on 3.799.

Edit: For the pi5, I can now browse the DLNA server again, by unchecking and rechecking the “DLNA Browser” option under “Sources”.
