Pi4 + 8.8" display only QR code

I’m building my first Volumio streamer, using a RaspberryPi 4, Hifibery DAC+, infrared, etc. and a HDMI Aida64 Display 8.8 Inch 1920x480 IPS LCD Screen -No touch.
I’m still very new to the subject, so I’d like to ask for help.

Everything works, it plays, there is a picture on the web control, but even after configuring the display, I only see a QR code on the left edge of the screen, which helps with web control via phone.

In the web settings, I see the album covers and the various previously configured temperature, time, etc. settings in a separate window on the kiosk mode screen. Shouldn’t this appear on the main screen that comes in at the RaspB IP address?

At the moment, I can’t transfer this to the elongated LCD display.

It only has the black background and the QR code (although in a good position and resolution). Of course, I’d like to see the level meters here too.

I tried to install the Touch Display Plug-In, but the installation fails.
I think the following error message is relevant:

Err:4 https://deb.nodesource.com/node_20.x bookworm Release

404 Not Found [IP: 104.20.45.190 443]

Running apt-get update failed

What should I set to make my own display work?

Please enable test in <device-ip-address>/dev and perform an upgrade to V4.073.

Your getting this error because nodesource deprecated the distro releases. V4.073 holds the fix.

Thanks for the quick reply. I managed to move forward by starting this way.
I updated the system. Now the upgrade is up and running.
I can see the nice Peepy-Meter level meters and menu.
