Pi3 not properly connecting with Spotify

Hi there,

I have tried the solutions of several other threads on here but none have solved the issue I am having. Please redirect me if a solution has already been posted! I am operating a RPi3 with a HiFiBerry DAC + on Volumio 2. I just installed the Spotify plug-in. The installation was successful and the plug-in is active. I entered my premium account credentials (correctly, verified in spopd.conf) and saved. Spotify will show up on browse tab, but my playlists won’t load. I click on My Playlists and nothing happens. Also, when I try to play a song from the featured playlists, they’ll go to my queue but never play.

Playback for Volumio’s web radio stations work just fine, if that helps. Ironically, Spotify worked when I was running Volumio 1.55, but since updating it doesn’t work.

EDIT Here is a segment that I think is problematic:

sudo /usr/bin/spopd -c /etc/spopd.conf
/usr/bin/spopd: error while loading shared libraries: libsportify.so.12: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Try this - change your Spotify password, log in to Spotify on a PC/Mac to the Spotify Web Player - not the app. Then plug in the new password to the Spotify plugin on Volumio. It’s a long shot, but it might work.
