PeppyMeter doesn't show any additional entries like album art etc

I’m using the latest Volumio version 3.779 on an x86.
everything fine!
my problem is: in meters.txt all entries in the section
“# — volume optional entries -------”
are ignored!
my resolution is 2560x720 is that the problem or the x86 PC?
