Hi,

I’m very happy with my Rivo+, it’s a fantastic device, with a great sound.
I currently have hooked it up to my amps internal DAC. Sounds great too, but now I’m looking at a second hand NuPrime DAC that does I2S. They have a spec sheet with the HDMI pin layout that they use.(https://nuprimeaudio.com/ufaqs/is-nuprimes-i2s-compatible-with-other-brands-i2s-format/) They advise to compare that layout with other equipment’s layout. Seems like good advice.

I was wondering if there is a spec sheet for the Rivo, or can anyone tell me which Rivo I2S setting would be compatible with NuPrime’s?

NuPrime DAC requires the PCM/DSD status signal on Pin14

On Rivo Plus, you can select the I2S HDMI Mode “LKS” or “Volumio” to match this requirement and you should be good to go

Thanks. Good to know. What about the other pins? Don’t they have any influence on the connection?
