So I really enjoy the My Playing Plugin, I have been able to customize it to my liking with colors, sizing, positioning, margins etc but there has been one thing that sticks out as a problem. When using the plugin with the RIVO the screen on my 4K Tv stretches automatically to the full size of the screen. However, when I use a Raspberry Pi4 with another TV the screen stretches only about three quarters way and I can’t figure out how to change the setting to full screen using the plugin.
I was all proud of myself when I used AI and it taught me how to utilize putty to go into the pi and add some commands which forced 1080p. Perfect, but then when the new download installed, I lost those settings gain.
Is there a way to set this to full screen, 1080pm in the app, so that I don’t need to update every time using putty?
I agree that being able to set the resolution in the plugin to match your screen would be nice, but I believe if they did that, they may have to account for more screens than practical. On my Pi4, outputting via both HDMI, I had to work around the plugins to achieve the resolution of a 16x10 touchscreen while outputting to an HDMI soundbar that expected standard 16x9 resolutions. Have a look here or have your AI agent review it and see if it can come up with something that works for you.
***As of the latest beta, I no longer had to apply the peppymeter section…but more on this is that you may solve your issues simply by using the latest Volumio 4 along with the latest Touch Display 3.5.9, so I’d advise you do that first and see. Also your reboot points and sequence may vary and you may need to give it more time to load everything on its own.
