Now playing option on Volumio 2

Hello all,

I just installed Volumio 2 and it works like a charm (well after I got the network working). I really like the spotify plugin as well. Much better then the old one. On the old one I had build an app that would fetch the now playing from my volumio on /_player_engine_spop.php however, that one is of course not available anymore. Is there another rest-like call that I can use to fetch the now playing information?

to answer my own question: volumio.local/dev/ shows an overview where i could distract the now playing info
