Hello I was using Volumio frequently on a pi 4 b 2gb however was waiting on a touch screen when i installed the touch screen it was recognised by the pi and all was well until i noticed strange things happening such as laggy behaviour music sounding glitchy and recently the touch working pefectly for all aspects of useability apart from actually playing the song when i tried logging in it says no route to host yet sometimes webradio or nas will work partially.

How did you power the touch screen, as this has all symptoms of under voltage.

Im using a funkeydo 7inch which is connected to the pi with little usb adapters that were in the kit

It cant. I did try but got a timeout took to long to respond message
Connect the device to a wired network cable. run the log.
Next:
You have all the signs that the screen draws to much power.
Try to connect the display to it’s own power supply. The rPi is not a power source.
Will try these measures also many thanks to you for the replys

When I plugged in the screen to its own power everything was much faster I also plugged in the rj45 and was able to get to the live log
Then it’s settled. You can’t power the screen via the rPi.
Either you use a 2nd power supply or split a single power supply before the rPi.
one end goes to the rPi and one direct to the screen, or use a powered USB hub.

Rather then create a new topic I thought I would respond to this one. So everything was setup and working perfectly until I unplugged the rj45 i setup the wifi in volumio saved and rebooted. Now when it boots it loads seemingly fine, will see my music but wont play it.
