I updated raspi3+ with allo boss from 3.378 (full running) to 3.569 and have no playback output anymore.
Changing back (SD card change) to 3.378 works again: propper output signal!
Settings of I2S DAC are same and Playback mode settings are absolutely same.
I2S DAC works generally, cause startup sound is OK.
When entering DSB settings and trying to change any parameter => pressing save button ends up with error message :" general playback option “error in saving setting” …
I tryed to find solution on volumio forum, but no success.
Is this a software issue, cause 3.378 workes with same settings immediately.
From what I see it looks like you have lot of libraries missing, this can only be due to manually installing\uninstalling or upgrading via apt-get . Did you do that?
In any case, a factory reset will solve your issues
I was reading the instructions on volumio homepage “get started”
Download the latest firmware, burn with raspberry imager to SD card and pluged in into Raspi 3+
Do I have to do other update actions?
Thank you for your helping hand!
… thinking for a while, I recocnized, that I used the image which was proposed from raspberry pi imager.
It is also named 3.569, but some libraries seems to missing there.
I used now the downlaod from Volumio Homepage and it is working perfectly. Without your hint / no way.
