I am running Volumio on a DDDAC with a Raspberry Pi (Hifiberry Pro+) and trying to retrieve music data from my Fujitsu Q902 NAS. The music files on the NAS are located in subfolders. The file size is 6.54 TB. Mounting via NFS works, but the music library does not see any subfolders or music. NFS is active on the NAS with the Volumio ID linked. Can anyone help me with this? Regards, Ben

The search button is not just there for decorative purposes or because we had one spare ![]()

Hoi Wheaten, Yes, I have seen that and also searched for NFS. I also tried various options, but found no working solution. I checked and adjusted various ‘permissions’ on the NAS, but without a solution. Is there a bug in the newest Volumio version concerning NFS, maybe? Groet, Ben
Nope, rock stable.
All my devices run via a NFS mount without issues. Did you click on this as still shows no clicks???

Yes, I have Volumio running with CFS mounted, but due to the large amount of music, CFS runs very slowly, and indexing takes a long time. I tried ‘vers=2.0’ to speed up, but it can’t mount a large amount of music. For that reason, I would like to switch to NSF. Is that a good idea?
If you mean NFS, then yes.
You need to grant NFS to your music folder.
And when mounting in Volumio make sure to set option nfsvers=3
Yes, i did; i can mount NFS music folder but no subfolders are shown in music library. What are the right ‘squar’ setting in NAS?
We support Volumio, Not Fujitsu Q902 ![]()
Most of these access issues arise when people copy files via windows to a NAS, without considering user rights.
Example:
You create a share for user X, but copy files over from Windows using user Y.
Make sure to grant access for user X on all folders and sub folders.
