Did this occured after latest firmware update? I had simular issue constant reboot after 30sec to a minute connected.
Several hardresets same reboot problem.
Solved it by not installing spotify Connect during set up after hard reset.Installed spotify Connect after system setup.This fixed the reboot loop on my primo v2
I have auto update on so i dont know if it was right after an update.
Tryed a lot of things bud nothing solved it. now with the update of the spotify plugin it is solved.

Spotify still isn’t working for me. I uninstalled the plugin, then restarted Volumio. Then I installed and authorized plugin version 4.4.2. Spotify still won’t play any music.

Thank you for this new version 4.4.2. I wasn’t familiar with the Spotify Connect mechanism. But everything works perfect. I can use the familiar interface of Spotify and enjoy Volumio at the same time!
I used the Spotify Plugin for a while an it was working fine.
Now on Version 4.4.2 and 4.4.3
the playback does not start on the web UI
Bit rate is set to 160
Only if i start the playback on my Mobil device music plays on my Raspberry5.
happens on multiple devices all Raspberry 5 4GBwith USB DAC from muc89.com

i am sure it was not ment unfriendly from @Wheaten, only a good recommendation on how to use the forum effectively.
In one thing we both are of the same opinion, that is, the „connect only“ feature and how to use it - could be announced more prominent @volumio to avoid this kind of confusion for all users - many would be happy to get the „all done with Volumio“ option aside, instead of having to control the spotify part from phone only - what - on the other side - does have it‘s advantages too.
It’s not only in Volumio’s hand to have it back - mainly Spotify itself is defining what can be done at the endpoints- and what not.
Also have a look on when the upcoming Spotify Soloist Plugin will be marked as stable - currently in beta phase but already very surprising. It‘s also „connect only“ because of the same restrictions from Spotify - but is able to play lossless !

well … i took not too serious. but community means something different to me then putting an “!” in an feedback.
Anyway a more clear communication and documentation is always great.
I’m 100% aware of the fact that this is not in the hands of volumio, if this plugin is not working.
Looks like i need to get rid of Spotify.
I will look at the issue myself, maybe there is a way to fix it.
