I am almost finished with my project using Ian Canada components on Raspi 3B in a HiFi2000 Galaxy 388 box.
I need advice on wiring an on-off button (placed on the back panel) to turn off the raspi AFTER I power it down in Volumio. The button will also turn off the internal power supply.
How do you wire into the GPIO?
Details:
My system has two toroidal transformers, one outputs 2x12V (for the I/V stage of the DAC) and the other outs 2x5V. The transformers are covered for shielding.
Then power goes to three LinearPiPro power supplies (2 for 12 V and one for 5V). The 5V further goes to a PurePi ultracapacitor unit the outputs 5V and 3.3V.
The Raspi stack consists of: FifoPi Q7 reclocker
ES 9038 Q2M Dual mono DAC OPA I/V output stage
Nice work.
I am a bit confused on what your asking. If you already powered down the rPi via Volumio, there is no need for further additions. You just can switch of the power supplies using a power switch.
If you flip it again the rpi will power up.
No GPIO needed, unless I misunderstood your question?
