Ned Help with Plugin Backup & Restore Data

Hi, i installed the plugin for backup and Restore from @macmpi.

But i don´t understand where the backup file is.

They said it is saved on smb root. What does it mean? My NAS is read only for all users without admin.

I have checked with an external usb stick but nothing.

Please help for an newbie. i don´t want allways backup the complete SD Card.

It is saved on a samba share called “Internal Storage” on the RPi. You can either connect to it directly via Windows, or ssh into your device and copy it to a usb stick or use “scp” to transfer to another networked device.

I found the file via Windows -> Network -> Volumio.

But not in winscp i am always in the root file folder without a internal Storage file folder. Maybe i have to change something?

Sounds like you are not actually logged onto your device.

if you log in through SSH or equivalent, file path is: /data/INTERNAL/volumio_data.tgz
