I have a Rivo+ with Lineo5 that I love as a Roon endpoint, and am optimistic that the new software will be much more stable, for using Volumio.
I also have an Eversolo DMP-A6 with LPS, that is no where near as good sonically as the Rivo+. The software is much more robust on Eversolo today, but still I really just use it as a Roon endpoint for my desktop audio setup.
I recently have purchased HQPlayer for additional upsampling. I just bought a PC that has not even arrived, and today Eversolo just released a firmware update that now supports NAA, so the Eversolo can now be an endpoint for HQPlayer which may alleviate my need for the PC as the NAA enpoint.
