Myvolumio.org unable to open devices from the "connect to this device" green button (bug?)

I have two Volumio devices set up in my network and can see both of them using myvolumio.org. When attempting to connect to either of these with the green play button, I get a continuing spinning logo but it never connects. I can connect with the .local or ip address so it’s manageable. This certainly doesn’t seem to be correct/desired behavior. Do I need to open ports or some other configuration?

MacOS, Safari browser. I tried Chrome with the same result. Note that I also tried from an external network with the same result.

Check Browser Settings:

  • Clear the cache and cookies of your browser (Safari and Chrome) and try again.
  • Make sure no browser extensions or ad blockers are interfering with the connection.

1. Update Volumio and Firmware:

  • Make sure your Volumio devices are running the latest version of the software, as updates often include fixes for remote connectivity issues.

2. Restart Your Devices:

  • Restart both Volumio devices and your router. Sometimes, network devices just need a reboot to clear up connectivity issues.

If none of this work please perform a factory reset When the Factory Reset of the unit is requested?

I have done all of this (including factory reset) and it still behaves the same. I can access my devices with .local or IP address so it’s not a big deal. I simply expected to be able to access from the MyVolumio web page.
