myVolumio only plays Tidal at 44.1 KHz

Hi All,

I normally played HiRes (i.e. 192Khz, 96Khz…) from the Volumio web interface and app, but now I can only play at 44.1 kHz. This is indicated on the “Now Playing” screen, and confirmed by the external DAC.

However, if I use Tidal Connect from the Tidal app I can play at HiRes. Also, indicated on the Volumio screen and DAC.

I haven’t changed anything about the configuration. It just happened recently.

Any clue on what happened and how can I play HiRes again from web/app, please?

Setup: Raspberry PI 4 B 2 GB running Volumio OS connected to a Douk Audio P1.

Please check your settings for Tidal.
Some users reported to change from “Highest Possible” to “Hi-Res” did the trick.

Not me the community reported this one, i am just retyping it :slight_smile:

I think Tidal is still confused on what Hi-Res or “Highest Possible” means…
