@michel8166 michel8166 Unfortunately I saw this too late because this power supply gets quite hot, which is the case with me. Can I use a different one? Or what solution is there? I can dissipate the heat well, but it still gets very warm at the cooler.
what input voltage does the transformer you use have?
This power supply gets quite warm (60 degrees) even if you use, say, a 7 volt input.
I have already made several with this power supply in raspberry pi streamers and so far none have failed and some have been running for 2 years.
Thank you Michel for your quick reply. The data of the transformer are
Power 60VA
Primary 230V - Secondary 2X 8V (3.9A)
Yes, I have an amplifier housing which has cooling fins on the outside. I have made the heat sink far to the outside wall so that the heat is dissipated very well. I will post a picture when everything is finished.
So, problem solved.
I don’t know exactly what the problem was. What I have done.
I shielded the transformer and attached copper plates to the housing so that the heat is conducted to the outside.
Result: The temperature does not exceed 35 degrees.
I had previously measured 55 degrees.
