A quick post here on my Pi Zero2 with an Allo Mini boss project.
I originally had this set up on a Zero1, but recently have upgraded to a Zero2. The MINIBOSS works using the standard ALLO BOSS config.
I’ve added to this a KY-040 rotary encoder - I removed the header pins and directly soldered to the back of the Zero. (the miniboss hat covers the GPIO pins). I used GPIO 17,27 & 22 for CLK, DT AND SW. This gives me a quick way to control the volume without needing to bring up the web interface.
I glued the Ky-040 to the inside of the case using epoxy adhesive, I roughed up the
contact area with the dremmel to make good bonding - it seems to be holding up well.
Amp is a Quad 303, Speakers B&W.
