Multi-Room Audio Setup Issues: Playback Delays, Device Disconnections, and Library Loss

As the title suggests, I’m facing multiple serious issues with my setup. I have two devices: an Intel NUC, which serves as my main system where all my media is stored, and a Raspberry Pi 3B+. Initially, I tried using a network share to stream music, but the user interface became unusable while streaming. Switching to a USB 3 flash drive improved the interface significantly, but now I keep losing my media library.

The main reason I chose this software was for the multi-room setup. The Intel NUC is connected to a stereo, and the Raspberry Pi is connected to a Bluetooth speaker via aux. However, sometimes the devices disappear from the interface, even though they continue to play music.

The biggest issue arises when I try to group both devices. Either nothing plays, only one device works, or, on rare occasions, both play but with a massive delay. Adjusting the hardware delay settings doesn’t help at all. I’ve read that to fix this, I need to ungroup the devices, change the delay settings, save, and re-add them—but now I can’t get anything to play at all.

For a premium subscription this software feels very poorly created and I’m extremely disappointed.
