The latest audio toy from CES2016 was the MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) format from Meridian that (allegedly) the world and his wife will be using/supporting for streaming. Any idea on whether it can be supported by Volumio without huge licensing fees to Meridian?
I really hope that MQA will bring more players into the Hi-Res streaming market

I just bought a new USB DAC - a Schiit Modi 2 Multibit - sounds awesome. And does not support MQA, and never will. Here’s Schiit’s take on MQA - a bit old, but most still holds:
