MPD DB update after reboot necessary?

Hi

I finally installed Volumio and HiFiBerry and all seems to work fine, thank you Michelangelo and Daniel!

I just wonder whether it is necessary that the MPD database has to be updated each time after reboot…
As I have some files on my NAS, it is a bit annoying…

not in my setup (which is also Volumio i.c.w. HiFiBerry). Mind you that the NAS-share mounts may take a while to be available. The mount process is automatically, but may take a while. At first I thought my mounts were gone, but they appeared lateron.
