I got a Motivo a couple of weeks ago and was delighted to find out media control works with a Flirc dongle. What I haven’t be able to do is make the on/off work.
Is this something I’m doing wrong or is it something not possible with the Motivo? I mean, there’s off and standby and restart on the navigation and on the big red button, so maybe it wouldn’t even know which one to pick.
I am not aware this is possible.
The command would be sudo shutdown -h now but then then the the LED turns blue and the Motivo is unresponsive. Need to pull the plug to restart.
The power button (red knob) has some hardware behind it that switches a relay.
Also within the interface there is no shutdown option.
Thank you, I thought not but thought’d ask first. It’s fine, there’s a big red button to push anyway 
I just have it in a not too practical place, so I’ll just move it someplace else.
