Mono Audio on x86 environment

I am trying to get mono audio to work on the x86 version of Volumio 3.0 because it will be used in a restaurant speaker system but I’m new to the Debian terminal. Can I get some help?

I think the safest way is to use the plugin FushionDSP. There you can select MONO, without messing around with settings.
