Media server list empty + cannot run System Update

Hi,

  1. My list of Media servers disappeared
    This happened at the same time as shairport sync stopped working - which i was able to restore by toggling off/on through Settings>Mymusic

  2. I am running on Volumio Primo - System Version 2.527. I did try to run the update, but this failed - stating manually edited files found. I have not manually updated any files - only added my Music collection location and plugins.

I am not sure if these 2 issues are related.

please can you help me with both

Can you give us some more information please? Are all your media sources through shairport? Not allowing updates if important Volumio settings have been changed is a feature to prevent further problems down the line. Have you not altered anything at all from the command line?

Hi,

I have not updated any settings/configs via the command line.
I have only used the plugins interface.

I have Plex and iTunes running from MacOS.
Plex was visible - until the same time as the Shairport Sync stopped.
I have never seen Plex again under the media servers section.

Hi - do you have any update?

I will most likley do a reset to factory settings - even though I have not done any command line changes to the system.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can try before I do this
