Low output volume on Pine64

Hi,

I am using Volumio on Pine64. The output is coming from the built in 3.5mm headphone jack and going to my stereo.

The problem is The output volume is very low, much lower than my other equipment.

I have volume setting at 100 on Volumio and there does not seem to be an option to increase. Is there any way to improve this?

I want to get the DAC POT for the Pine but I’m worried the issue may be the same.

This is a re-occurring report.
Go to the playback options and set Volume normalization mode, this should improve it.
Check the difference, let me know if it still does not work.
Don’t worry about the DAC, it does not have the same issue.

I have read on this forum that the onboard DAC for the Pine 64 is not very good quality - do you know a USB DAC that is compatible?
