Lifetime accounts?

Makes me wander for starters what to do…
Looking at the cost making it myself, or getting an award winning device on design and sound.
Without adding the labor needed for building a case.

I have an livetime coupon with an code
When log out from mijn existing account and log in again i cannot place my code.

I stlll don’t get it.

I want to use my existing email address an log in

I have Volumio Lifetime. Changed from FREE Plan to Premium AND entered the Lifetime Code into the “I have a coupon code” box. Immediately changed to Lifetime subscription AND Paddle charged me US$ 0 with an official receipt. That was on 28 September 2023.

Initially Paddle continued to issue me with receipts even though my VISA was NOT charged,

Then it happened and Paddle started CHARGING my VISA starting for January and February 2025 !! Reported this to Volumio support and Marco attended to my complaint. Got my refunds.

Marco changed my Lifetime back to FREE plan and he gave me a new Lifetime Code. He told me to enter this new code WITHOUT SUBSCRIBING TO PREMIUM PLAN !! How to I do THAT ? In order to enter the Lifetime Code, I have to subscribe to Premium Plan from where I only can enter the Lifetime Coupon code !

Waited around 8 days and Marco did NOT reply on how to proceed to enter the Lifetime Code WITHOUT subscribing to Premium Plan.

Frustrated of waiting for his reply, I subscribed again by entering the new Lifetime Coupon code given by Marco. I was actually charged AGAIN for the first month on 27 February 2025 !!

I know that this Lifetime thing was offered only twice and may not happen again in future. I do understand about the Premium payment system using Paddle already in place. So a “workaround” was done as “Coupon Code” in the regular Premium Plan using Paddle payment system.

BUT… can you imagine the terrible HASSLE and FRUSTRATION it is for me having to worry about being CHARGED by Paddle every month/year AND ACTUALLY finding myself BEING CHARGED… and having to doing this unnecessary work of making complaints to get refunds WHICH I do honestly expect WILL happen again and again.

IF this hassle continuously happens again repetitively… I WILL ask for cancellation of my Lifetime Subscription and demand a FULL Refund! Have sent my latest complaint AGAIN to Marco and awaiting his reply.

PLEASE HELP. Otherwise, cancel my Lifetime and demand a full refund of what I paid for Lifetime. Now seriously considering on whether to stop using Volumio ever again even IF its excellent.

I’ve just replied to your ticket and found the right solution to ensure your Lifetime subscription is set correctly.

Please do not cancel your subscription, as doing so will cause the system to keep charging you again. The issue is now resolved, and you won’t be charged moving forward. I’ve again, processed a refund for the charge.

Thanks for your quick response and for your help in resolving this issue.

I have replied to your email message together with further thoughts from me.

The reason I chose to voice out here was there were no response from you after I sent my reply email message to you on 21 February 2025 pertaining to using your new Lifetime Code without subscribing to Premium Plan… which isn’t possible.

I certainly do HOPE that you have found “the right solution”. As long as the Paddle payment system is still “connected” to my Lifetime subscription and continues to issue receipts when there aren’t any actual charges to my VISA, my fear is that I may again be CHARGED sometime in the future. IF… Paddle no longer charges and issue receipts, then it’s all great and this issue is certainly fixed.

As I mentioned before, IF this issue again surfaces, I certainly will lose confidence in any solution AND when that happens, I will certainly want to terminate my Lifetime and ask for a refund on what I paid for Lifetime subscription as it isn’t my fault. I shouldn’t even need to deal or worry with such “payment charges” for a lifetime onetime payment.

Keeping my fingers crossed. This issue is closed… at least for now.
