Hey all! Firstly, I’m very new to raspberry pi coding specifically, however I do have some experience coding generally. I’m in the process of building a Pi4 local file player, running off a hard drive. I’ve had the idea of making a now playing album artwork display, but have no idea where to start.
I’ve spotted a few GitHub projects which do similar but are streaming based and require an external server to downsize the jpgs, this isn’t ideal as I don’t really have anything I can use, and not all of my albums are available online.
I get the feeling it would be easier to manually resize all my cover.jpgs to new files and simply output them via HDMI or Hub75 (not sure which).
Anyone know where I should start?
