My set-up is a Volumio Integro with the latest software.
I keep on having deleted albums and artists in my library. Those were mainly in the trash folder but not visible. It seems that Volumio integrates files and folders that start with a dot too. A dot in the beginning makes the files invisible to the normal usage and helps to recover them fromout the OS. I don’t know about Windows, but it’s propably only a Unix thing and so my Mac is doing this. Also my Mac has the tendency to add additional information for the search engine on the volume my music is stored in. Those folders and files too start with a dot. Hence this leads to a disfunctional library.
So, if it’s possible to tell the Volumio software to please ignore those file and folder names, it would limit manual maintenance.
