Iancanada Streamer won't play 24bit 192Khz Stream

I have an Ian Canada diy streamer #90B with

  1. #20B TransportPi Digi
  2. #48B PurePi II ultra capacitor/battery power supply
  3. #49A MonitorPi display/analyzer
  4. #3 IsolatorPi III
  5. Raspberry Pi 4
  6. SC Pure Clocks
  7. Burson Composer 3xp DAC
  8. Using Volumio

Using Tidal. Had same problems on Qobuz as a control.

I can play 16bit-44.1 without problem
I can play 24bit-44.1 without problem (I didn’t know this existed, but Tidal showed this)
24bit 192 just silence.

Is there some jumper I need to adjust? Is it a Volumio issue? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

What connect mode are you using? Coax? Optical? I2s/hdmi?

Hi,
I have a similar configuration.
Check jumpers J12 and J13 in #3 IsolatorPi III (they must be set to Master Clock).

Ahhh ok… I never changed them from the default they were shipped as… I will try Master Clock mode…

Looking at the manual and the board it looks like it is in master mode. Jumper on J13 and J12 empty (if I’m reading it right).

Hi @phewall! Did you find a solution to your issue? I have a very similar setup and get heavy distortion when a track switches from a lower sample rate to 192kHz. (I tried two different DACs via I2S.
