Ive been searching everywhere - at first i thought i should try using kodi on ubuntu but its too bloated and is laggy on a pi3.
-simple mp3 playback of local files on usb drive
- ftp into folder to add new music
- scheduling of specific playlist at specific times
-have those specific playlists update automatically also while playing to include specific criteria e.g "add all files within folders which contain “afternoon”
I cant seem to find any out of the box solution via plugins with anything.
I was using volumio and doing it all manually in terms of the playlist creation but i really need it to be automated.
Can anyone help me? is Volumio a good choice or is there something else out of the box with a plugin which can achieve what i need?
