I got this cheap DAC to be used with my Raspberry Model B. Is it possible with the several pins in the DAC without connections.
Or should I return it?

Yes it is possible, but you will have to solder the 8 PIN „P1“ connector on the Pi and then use male to female jumper wires to connect it.
Don‘t expect top performance with this old Pi 
- but it will work.
