I cannot type my password in on my raspberry pi 4B running volumio

I have the latest version of volumio installed on my raspberry pi 4B, and it has my custom name before the login, but when it gets to the password section I can’t type anything, and if I hit enter, it goes to the Next line, waits about 3 seconds, and then says my password is wrong, I’ve tried The custom password I’ve set, I tried Volumio, but I don’t think the password is the problem, right after the “password:” I can’t type , I flashed it through raspberry pi imager, and I’ve done it multiple times, I have the app fully set up, and it’s all connected, I can restart it and power it off through the app. But I still can’t type the password, I can’t get past the terminal screen

Tldr, I can’t type my password in on the terminal screen after “password:” And if I hit enter, it goes to the next line, waits 3 seconds, and then says my password’s wrong whether I typed it in or not

Are you talking about logging into an ssh terminal session? It is normal that you don’t see anything happen while typing a password. When it asks for a password, just blindly type it in and hit enter. The default user and password are both “volumio” (all lower case). Instructions here:

Ok.

You must not change the default credentials for Volumio as it will break installing plugins, OTA
