How to setup LIRC with V1.55?

Hi,

can anyone explain how to setup LIRC on a Raspi B with volumio 1.55?

I managed it for V1.51 following this tutorial: https://volumio.org/forum/using-remote-with-volumio-t1923.html

But it doesnt work with 1.55.

Can’t believe that noone out there manage to get LIRC running wit V1.55.

Hope you succeed.
If not - I’ve got the same problem.
To solve it try this: forum.pilight.org/Thread-could-n … uch-device
Add the following lines to /boot/config.txt
dtoverlay=lirc-rpi,gpio_in_pin=xx

Yes, Imanaged it. And to be honest I’m a little bit disappointed about the support level here. The way devices are handle changed with V1.55. So the config.txt has to be changed instead of modules.rc.

It would take one the cracks around here just 2minmax to point a linux newbee in the right direction and would have saved me at least to hours searching the web…
